Dippers Rest is a pet friendly converted linhay tucked away in the Blackdown Hills in Devon. With it own private hot tub, it’s a lovely cottage for family holidays, walking breaks and weekends away with friends.

Many years ago this is where livestock came in from the fields for the winter; hay was stored in the loft up above; nowadays it’s happy guests who come to Dippers Rest all year round for holidays and short breaks. Within a few miles there are family attractions, market towns, great places to eat and the beaches of the Jurassic Coast.

On the ground floor there’s a light and airy open plan kitchen/dining room; French Doors open onto the garden and there are glorious views across the valley. To the left is the living room with soft leather sofas and a wood-burner; there are two bedrooms and a shower room downstairs, and another upstairs with an en suite bathroom. Dippers Rest has plenty of country charm, the feels are gentle and welcoming, making it easy to relax and enjoy your holiday. In the summer spend time in the garden, soak in the hot tub and dine alfresco, in the winter come back and light the fire after a walk in the fields. Book today!

Dippers Rest is one of 5 cottages at Stonehayes Farm. It can be booked on its own or with Wagtail Corner to accommodate groups of up to 11 guests – great for two families or an extended family.
