Dog Rules

Here at Little Stays we know how much it means to be able to take your faithful friend when you stay at a holiday cottage in the UK, after all, your dog is a big part of your life and very much one of the family. Well, the good news is that we have several dog friendly holiday cottages - we just ask that you read our Dog Rules before you plan to bring your dog on holiday as it’s important that these are adhered to.

Little Stays Dog Rules

Please ensure that your pet's vaccinations and flea treatments are up to date before the start of your holiday.

Please make sure your dogs are kept off all furniture in the cottage and are not allowed in the bedrooms.

If your selected holiday cottage has a swimming pool, hot tub or outdoor bath please DO NOT allow your dogs in it.

Please do not leave your dogs unattended in the cottage at any time.

It is preferable that dogs sleep in crates at night, but if this really isn’t possible, please follow the property owner's guidelines as to where your pet should sleep.

Please don’t allow wet or muddy dogs in the cottage – dry them with a towel (you'll need to bring one with you) before being letting them in.

Please ensure all dog mess is picked up throughout your stay and have a final check just before you leave on the morning of your departure.

Please be aware that not all properties have secure gardens - dogs must always be supervised inside and outside of the properties.

Please be aware that the grounds and farmland around your holiday cottage may contain livestock – if so, make sure that dogs are kept on leads and fully supervised at all times.

Note: Dogs must be added when you make your booking; a charge of £75 per dog will then be applied to the booking total.
